ADMISSIONS OVERVIEW
Our Admissions Department will provide support and a means of communication for our families as we work towards the common goals of student achievement and satisfied parents. We believe that the admissions process does not end with admission of the child, but rather parents should be able to provide constant feedback and be able to contact us for further details.
At ACS Sharjah we believe that nothing can substitute visiting us and meeting with our Admissions Department, Headmaster and our administrators and staff.
We realize that you will have many questions regarding how to admit your child and the requirements for admissions.
We will try and answer these questions as best as possible here in this section, however if you have any further questions we would like to hear from you.

Age Requirements
ACS Sharjah uses the following age guidelines for admission placement:

Subsequent Academic Years will follow.
The minimum age for admission to Kindergarten 1 and 2 must be reached before September 15th in the school year for which the child is to be enrolled. New students will be admitted only after verification of the age has been received in the form of either a birth certificate or passport. In other grades, enrollment may be denied if the student's age significantly exceeds the normal average for his or her grade placement.
Once you have filled out or downloaded our online application form, please make sure you have the following documents ready for our registrar to successfully process your request.

- Completed and Signed Application/registration Form.
- 8 Passport Pictures - please print student's name clearly on the back of each picture
- Copies of past School Reports (the most recent report must be included):
- 2 Copies of Child's Birth Certificate
- 2 Copies of Child's Immunization/Vaccination Records
- 2 Copies of Child's Passport
- Copy of U.A.E. Residence Visa (when available)
- Transfer Certificate (needed at enrollment not at application processing time)
- Doctors Reports where applicable
- Education Specialist Reports where applicable
- Special Needs Reports where applicable
